1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using zero2claude.dev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Zero2Claude is a free interactive web application that teaches non-technical people how to use the terminal and Claude Code. The Service provides 147 lessons across 14 levels, covering topics from basic file navigation to building real software projects.

The Service includes:

• Interactive lessons with quizzes, exercises, and simulated terminal environments
• AI-powered personalized learning plans
• A community forum for discussion and feature requests
• A peer help system for real-time lesson assistance
• Progress tracking, achievements, and streaks
• Text-to-speech for lesson content
• In-app bug reporting

3. User Accounts

To track progress and access community features, you must create an account by providing an email address, display name, and password. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

You may optionally upload a profile image. The Service does not verify email addresses or real identities.

4. User-Generated Content

You may create content through the Service, including forum threads, replies, feature requests, peer help messages, and bug reports ("User Content").

By posting User Content, you grant Zero2Claude a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute your content as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.

All User Content is subject to automated moderation, which includes:

• HTML tag stripping
• Profanity filtering
• Link spam detection (posts with excessive URLs may be rejected)
• Whitespace normalization and length limits

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or restrict any User Content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms or is reported by other users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions
• Attempt to inject malicious content, including prompt injection attacks against AI features
• Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service's operation
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Use automated tools to scrape content or create accounts
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) to generate:

• Personalized learning plans based on your self-described background
• Color palette themes
• Automated bug report investigation and fixes

AI-generated content is provided as-is and for informational/educational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, or career advice. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for evaluating and acting on any AI-generated content at your own discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All lesson content, curriculum design, interactive components, visual design, and code of the Service are the property of Zero2Claude and its creator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service's content without permission.

You retain ownership of all User Content you create. The license granted in Section 4 is limited to operating and displaying the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to abuse of community features, posting prohibited content, or attempting to compromise the Service's security.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account deletion, contact us at the email below.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Zero2Claude is operated by an individual, not a corporation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is hosted on Render's free and starter tiers. Service availability may be affected by hosting provider limitations, including cold starts and scheduled maintenance.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
